What is Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)?
PBS focuses on understanding your needs and helping you and those around you to address them effectively. We support families and caregivers in identifying the root causes of behaviours and determining the necessary supports to meet these needs.
PBS is an evidence-based approach designed to enhance an individual’s quality of life and reduce the occurrence of challenging behaviours.
Typically, PBS services are funded through the NDIS.

What Does a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner Do?
Our PBS practitioners work collaboratively with you, your family, support workers, school, and other key individuals to assess your needs. We conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments to identify the appropriate supports for you. We then offer comprehensive support to improve your quality of life.
By working closely with you and your support network, we ensure everyone understands how to best assist you. We create a Positive Behaviour Support Plan that outlines the support you need and helps others better understand your needs.
Our practitioners have backgrounds in psychology, speech pathology, or occupational therapy, and they support individuals across all ages, from early childhood to older adults.
